Alright ladies, let’s be real for a minute here. If you’re a mom, how often do you really take time for yourself? How often do you do something that’s just for you? For that matter, what steps are you taking to take care of you?

I’m not the best at self-care and I’m really not the best at maintaining a good level of health and fitness.

I can provide you with a list of excuses and reasons.

But, aside from a general lack of motivation at times; it boils down to one thing. Time.

Maybe I just need to improve my time management skills in general but it’s always about time. So how does this busy millennial work at home mom fit health and wellness into her day?

With one easy step at a time.

Would you believe me if I told you that it really just takes baby steps? And it can be as simple and easy as taking a daily probiotic.

Nature Made® Probiotics: Nature Made® Advanced Dual Action Probiotic has been clinically studied and provides dual support to both your small and large intestine for comprehensive coverage to help support digestive balance and healthy gut flora.†

I am probably one of the biggest skeptics when it comes to taking supplements. I scoff at the idea of dieting. And exercise and I have a love/hate relationship.

I am also one of the biggest slackers when it comes to actually taking care of myself. I’ve never been great with sticking to diets or fitness routines.

But, halfway through the year, I vowed to make the rest of my life healthier. I didn’t really notice or realize how much of a problem I was having with my overall lack of fitness until I was spending more time outdoors with my youngest.

What would usually be easy for me to conquer, was now leaving me somewhat winded.

Naturally, I was quick to point out to myself that I was working at home. So I wasn’t really quite as active as I used to be.

The excuses began to pile up from there.

It wasn’t until my toddler and I were at home and were going upstairs to do something. After she got to the top of the stairs, she put her hands on her knees and started to take exaggerated heavy breaths. Much like she’d seen me doing after one of our more strenuous walk earlier that day.

Right then and there, I knew something had to change.

I started to look into taking actionable, but small, steps to make changes in my health and wellness routine. That included setting fitness goals.

And while I may have quite some time to meet my overall fitness goals, in the meantime I have more time to enjoy outdoor walks.

Not only am I making the time to exercise daily, but I am also taking supplements. Nature Made® has a variety of vitamins, supplements, and minerals to help support nutritional gaps with a range of products including Women’s Health, Digestive Health, Energy Metabolism, and so much more! They even have a healthy habit builder if you need a little assistance with your health and wellness goals.

And if you, like me, are budget conscious- don’t worry! You can find Nature Made® at your local Walmart where you’ll find low prices everyday. I found my supplements right in the pharmacy section.
