Sharing is caring!

Starting Sunday, July 5th- Discovery Channel brings us one of the most anticipated weeks of the year… Shark Week! This is definitely one of my favorite weeks as far as television goes and I look forward to watching every year. Sharks are fascinating creatures and I love learning more about them. But there’s no reason that we can’t make this extra fun (and a little educational) by finding ways to celebrate Shark Week 2015 with activities and snacks.

Do you love Shark Week? Here are 17 activity and craft ideas to celebrate Shark Week!

Beyond just having a premiere party, you could really make this an edutaining week by combining learning activities about sharks.

For example, Every Star is Different shares Shark Activities for Tots and A Shark Unit – both with free printables.

3 Dinosaurs has a fun Shark printable pack.

You can pick up free shark lacing cards from Enchanted Homeschooling Mom.

A Moment in Our World also has shark cards available.

At Nurture Store, you can find some great ocean themed sea creatures to use with play dough.

And you can find Montessori inspired Shark activities and printables from Living Montessori Now.

Want some fun crafts and activities to go with the learning experiences?

And you reinforce the alphabet with a Feed the Shark game from Toddler Approved.

Sensory bins are always fun and you can try this Digging for Shark Tooth Fossils from Stir the Wonder.

Don’t forget to make this footprint shark from Glued to My Crafts
