Some mornings I feel like I'm ready to take on the world. And other mornings, I could definitely do with a few more hours of sleep. Still, I don't let that stop me from making the most of it. Here are my morning essentials for a productive day of blogging and momming. #BiscuitBreak ad

Are you a morning person? And for that matter, what type of morning person are you?

Are you ready to take on the day or could you use an extra hour or two to find your capability to function?

I’ve never been a true morning person. Sure, I can get up early when I need to but the thought of sleeping in never seems to register with my body on the weekends. Still, I try to make the most of it and go about what I need to do to get myself and my kids ready for the day.

And for me that means having coffee. Maybe it’s a crutch and I really don’t need it to be productive but it certainly helps. But, being a mom that doesn’t mean I’ll have time for a hot cup of coffee. In fact, a hot cup of coffee is a rare occasion.

You know how it goes, right? You make your cup of coffee and then you need to get lunches ready or breakfast ready. Maybe you take a sip of your coffee in between but even that seems like a luxury.

So by the time you can actually find a minute or two to enjoy your coffee, it’s lukewarm or cold. Which, don’t get me wrong- coffee is coffee and I’ll still drink it because I need it.

Sometimes though, the mornings still get the best of me and I haven’t been able to find the time to even remotely sip on my much needed cup of morning brew.

But I won’t let that stop me from getting my caffeine fix.

SnackWell's Biscuit Thins are now an essential part of my morning routine. For those mornings when I know that a hot cup of coffee just isn't in my plans #BiscuitBreak ad

My essentials for a productive blogging morning are as follows:

  • Coffee
  • pencils
  • index cards
  • blog planner

I use my index cards to plan out the day- sort of like oversized Post-It notes and make my plans based on my blogging planner and personal calendar. I may do somethings with colored ink pens but for the most part, I plan in pencil so I can move things around as needed. I also use the index cards to shift things around as needed.

And well, we’ve discussed the coffee thing already.

But when I can’t get to finishing that first cup of coffee, I turn to one of my new morning essentials: SnackWell’s Biscuit Thins.

With each biscuit thin featuring inspirational messages (Love, Amaze, Bliss, Happy & Shine), they also provide a nice pick me up in the morning or throughout out the day.

  • Good source of protein – from USA sourced whey protein concentrate and whole oats

  • Good source of fiber

  • Made with real coffee

  • 24g of whole grain per serving

They’re available in three delicious flavors:

  • Caramel Macchiato (Buttery caramel & espresso flavors mixed with a hint of real coffee)
  • French Vanilla (Delicious vanilla flavoring with a creamy, sweet finish & real coffee)
  • Chocolate Mocha (Rich dark chocolate and mocha flavors combined with real coffee)

After undergoing the tedious task of trying each one, I have determined that French Vanilla is my favorite. But, to be perfectly honest with you? All three flavors are absolutely delectable.

You can find these at your local Walmart (for us it was in Glenmont)- which is where I pick up most of our household essentials. Just head on over to the snack aisle and don’t forget to take print and take this coupon.

These biscuit thins also fit nicely into the diaper bag for when we’re on the go and ready to get on with the rest of our day.

I love that the biscuit thins have inpsirational messages to help you start your day. I’m so not a morning person. I tried to wake up early today and I’m seriously ready for bed and it’s not even dinner time yet!
