Finding Dory Gift Ideas for All Occasions
My toddler’s latest obsession is Finding Dory- the 2016 hit from Disney/Pixar studios. The sequel to the equally popular Finding Nemo, Finding Dory centers around Dory’s quest to find her parents. Unfortunately she has short-term memory loss which impedes her journey a little. However, she finds help along the way. Not only from Nemo and Marlin but also from Destiny, Hank, and Bailey.

I was a huge fan of Finding Nemo so I was really curious to see Finding Dory. The addition of adorable sea otters fueled my interest in the movie. So, needless to say, once we learned that it was going to be released, we rented it first on Amazon Video.
I’m not sure who fell in love with the movie first- me or Squeaker. Our next move was to purchase the movie. Now I’m sharing a list of Finding Dory gift ideas for all occasions just in case you also have a child in your life who’s obsessed with Finding Dory.

Finding Dory has quickly become a favorite family movie. And while Squeaker may be more of a fan of Dory, I personally love Hank. Maybe it’s just the adult in me that relates better to that moody, cynical, septopus. Or it could just be a general appreciation and fascination with octopus. I’m still not sure.
Whatever the case may be, Finding Dory has also opened the way for me to start a shared love of all things Disney with my toddler. My next step will be to introduce her to animal themed Disney movies and then we’ll go to the classic Disney movies that were a treasured part of my own childhood.
