Sharing is caring!

If you're a WAHM, have you looked at Zeqr?

Have you heard of Zeqr? It’s is a new global knowledge hub set to change how people across the world exchange information. Zeqr allows experts in any field to create classes and deliver their knowledge via one-to-one live video sessions to those seeking their advice.

And thanks to Blog Meets Brand for the opportunity to try out this service as an expert.

Yes, you read that right.

I used the “E” word.

But that’s how I had to approach this because Zeqr is looking for the experts. It’s something that I’ve been hesitant to embrace.

That was until I realized that maybe I do have some areas of expertise.

  • Parenting
  • Parenting an autistic child
  • Balancing work/life (working on that)
  • Self care
  • Fitness/Wellness at home (for the every day woman)
  • Blogging

Perhaps I’m not a guru or as well renowned as others. But, I do have expertise in those fields. And I might just be the one to make the meaningful connection with another mom.

Zeqr allows me to do this in either a one-on-one basis or in a class setting.

I’m working on building up my profile over at Zeqr but that also requires a little more confidence on my part.

Still, I think this is going to be well worth the effort and will also challenge me to live up to the inner expert inside.

Aside from that, have you ever considered the benefits of working online?

Mothers who work online, as freelancers, are their own bosses.

They do not get shouted at (by a boss but sometimes by clients), they do not get pressured (unless it’s their own pressure), and they are rarely criticized (… doubtful). They can choose their own clients, their own assignments, and they can choose deadlines that are more convenient and achievable for them.

They work at their own pace and follow instructions and orders only from the clients they choose to work for.

Stay at home moms who work online can have the perfect working schedule according to Online Parent Advisor. With a specific number of working hours that may be used straight or at different times of the day, it is the perfect arrangement for mothers.

As moms, there are doctor and dentist appointments, kids’ school, kids’ extra-curricular activities, errands, and chores that need to be done in specific times of the day. Working online allows them to schedule these tasks and have their free time for work.

As long as she meets the deadline, it does not matter at what time of the day she works.

Any mother would definitely choose to be there for her family whenever she is needed, especially by the kids. When a mom needs to travel to the workplace, it would take time to get home in case one of the kids got sick.

It would also take time to seek permission to go home early. While when a mom works from home, she can attend to her sick kid’s needs without having to ask anyone for permission. It is a luxury that SAHMs have that other working mom doesn’t.

Every second spent in waking up extra early, leaving early, and dressing up, commuting to and from the workplace is a second spent with the family. This allows moms to have more quality time with the family.

Zeqr can help you put yourself out there. Or it can help you supplement your existing income streams. Zeqr is going to change how knowledge is exchanged on a global level, leading to a better informed and more knowledgeable world.
