Sharing is caring!

I would love to say that I’m a hands-on craftsy person. But, there are definitely times that I’m more prone to gluing my fingers together than completing the actual craft. Still, that doesn’t stop me from trying. Especially when it comes to finding toddler friendly crafts for the holidays.

My toddler is really starting to enjoy a daily craft time. And thanks to Oriental Trading, I can provide that for her when my own creativity is sapped.

With many thanks to Oriental Trading for supplying us with some easy to use kits, we had a really fun day with these toddler friendly pumpkin themed crafts that are just perfect for Fall or Halloween!

Pumpkin Themed Crafts and Activities for Toddlers

I combined the Pumpkin Bead assortment, Plastic Pumpkin bead, and Colored Pumpkin beads in a small baking pan to let Squeaker explore a bit. We talked about colors, shapes, and different sizes.

She had a lot more fun with these, however, after we put them in our pumpkin play dough.

And to be perfectly honest with you, I had just as much fun. I like playing with play dough, especially when it’s scented and homemade. Playing with play dough and the beads were the perfect warm up to getting her ready and in the mood to use her hands for crafting.

We started with a pumpkin life cycle craft. And let me tell you, one thing that I absolutely love about the kits from Oriental Trading? They supply you with just about everything that you need. The only thing that I had to hunt down for this craft was glue.

Now, while I’m sure I could have painted the paper plates myself (as I have about four drawers filled with various craft supplies), my impatient toddler appreciates not having to wait for paint to dry.

Next, we did a thumbprint pumpkin patch craft. And this is one that we’ll do several variations of over the next few weeks. I’m sure we’ll do more thumbprint based crafts as well. It’s easy enough on both of us with a minimal mess.

Again, what I really love about these craft kits is that almost all of your materials are supplied for you. There’s no second guessing, no cutting, and no last minute trips to the store.

And we have one adorable craft!

Crafting with the kits from Oriental Trading, really helps me out by saving me time and a little bit of money. The kits are priced nicely and even though we end up with a little bit of extra; our church always appreciates the materials.

Do you and your toddler or preschooler have a daily craft time?

I am loving this! I love it when they make it easy to make crafts with the kiddos. I’m going to have to do these with my own.
