Finding Hope in the Bible: a free eBook
Finding Hope in the Bible
I was admittedly hesitant about offering this because it’s my first attempt at an eBook, but I figured I had to start somewhere. So, without further ado, I bring you ‘Finding Hope in the Bible’ a simple, free, 13 page eBook featuring 40 Bible verses about hope (and first in a series of simple eBooks about what can be found in the Bible). I’m experimenting with different sorts of downloadable content for the blog. So far I do enjoy the printable making and I’m expanding on the variety of printables that I create (simple quote/Bible verse based, worksheets, calendars) and hope to eventually offer more. I do intend to start making printable packets when Squeaker starts Tot-School, even though I know that there are already numerous blogs that offer those.
Similarly, I know that there are numerous blogs that offer faith based downloadable content (Devotionals, eBooks, copywork, etc.) and I hope to venture into this area as well. I chose to start with an eBook, simple as it is, because I didn’t know where else to start. Writing a devotional is beyond me at this point, and copywork, I have many ideas in my head. My faith means a lot to me, and I want to be able to share that. Even though I’d read somewhere that two topics to avoid in blogging were religion and politics; I clearly have no intention to abide by that rule.
So why this topic?
When my son was just born, and in the NICU for several months, I found hope in the Bible. Perhaps you’ll think that sounds cheesy, but it’s true. Likewise, going through everything that I’ve gone through with my B… I’ve again found hope in the Bible. So, with that in mind, I figured that finding hope in the Bible would be as good of a topic as any to start with. With that being said, I was originally going to do this as a subscriber freebie. Maybe in the future, I’ll offer future eBooks this way, but with this one- seeing that it’s my first, will be available to download in this post.
As I grow and learn more about eBook writing/publishing, I might sell them. I haven’t decided yet, but I am considering that option. Not that I would consider myself to be the queen of all authors, but just to see if I can support my family in such a way.
Anyway, now that I’ve rambled a little bit, I would only ask that you please abide by these simple rules. Well, really only one rule.
Please do not redistribute without permission, thank you. Any encouraging or constructive comments are greatly appreciated, but being rude and nasty will get your IP address banned.

That looks like a great book to have on hand.
Thank you so much! I am looking forward to reading your book. Hope is one of my favorite words. Thanks, again.
This is wonderful. The Bible is where I always go for Hope and everything else in my life. Thank you for sharing
Hi Kori, my one word for 2014 is HOPE. Something we all need more of- we can never have enough! No matter what we’re dealing with or situation we’re going through the Bible can and will always give us hope. Thank for offering your e-book for free! I can’t wait to go through it! I am apart of the #BloggerCareGroup and I am looking forward to exploring your blog and getting to know you better! Be blessed! 😉
I absolutely think so too. I’ll be redoing the ebook in the future, it’s really not what I wanted it to be but I was anxious to get it done.
