Exploring Albany, NY on Foot with a Baby and Toddler

When people think about traveling in New York, they tend to think of two places: Niagara Falls or New York City. But there really is so much more to explore around here.
Take Albany, for example.
We’re the capital city and there is so much to see and do in the greater capital region. And quite a bit of it is free and easy to get to. We’re fortunate to live in a smaller, quieter neighborhood that’s close to the bus stop. And now that I’m watching my niece Boo-Boo on a regular basis; it also means that Squeaker and I head outdoors more.
But, since I don’t drive this is a tad problematic. Before I could just strap Squeaker into her stroller or use her baby carrier. But now? I have to negotiate both a toddler and a baby. Sure, Squeaker is mostly okay with walking but she’s still a toddler and her little legs can only last for so long.
Our solution?
The Evenflo Sibby Travel System is an absolute dream!
Squeaker has a ride-along board for when she needs it and Boo-Boo is secure in the main part of the stroller. There’s a generous sun canopy and the seat reclines easily. And we all know how difficult it can be to get a stroller to collapse when you’re done, right?
Not with this stroller!
Even with carrying Boo-Boo, I can easily get this stroller set up and taken down.
The handles are comfortable for both Squeaker and myself and there is a lovely sized storage basket beneath the stroller. This makes it so easy for trips to the local parks or the state museum. Or just taking a walk around the city and getting a lemonade.
Squeaker was even more thrilled to find out that she could reach the straw while standing. Which meant not having to stop frequently.

Squeaker even loves this stroller when she’s not standing as it will support a child up to 50 pounds.
