On any given weekday morning, especially during the school year or summer when Sweet B has extended school year, I was multitasking. Squeaker was usually up before her sister, so that means having to juggle the toddler while I’m trying to get Sweet B’s breakfast ready. Just yesterday, in fact, Squeaker was feeling particularly clingy. Usually, I would just pop her into her baby carrier and be on my way, but by that point I just wanted to get some things done. I will admit, before I was pregnant I used to start my day with a cup of coffee or tea.. and once I got to work, if someone hadn’t gone already, I was the first to head off to the nearby Dunkin Donuts for a large cup of hazelnut coffee.
