Sharing is caring!

My youngest and I are dedicating quite a bit of time to learning all about Christmas. And one of the ways that we’re learning is through music. This includes traditional Christmas carols along with Christmas soundtracks.

What we do is pick a Christmas song (or movie) and then make a learning activity out of the song.

For the song, 12 Days of Christmas, we are doing several math activities along with a gross motor game and vocabulary. For our math activities, we are also incorporating sign language as that has been a staple for our homeschooling.

Before I get to the download and the previews, I have to get this off my chest.

Every year, I see folks posting about the 12 Days of Christmas beginning on December 13th. I have to tell you- this is wrong. The TRUE 12 Days of Christmas begins on the day of Christmas and goes until January 5th, which also happens to be the day of the Epiphany.

That out of my system?

Let’s get to your download:

Your matching puzzle set covers numbers 1-12 (for each verse of the 12 Days of Christmas song). So you could also use this for sequencing, of sorts, for the verses.

Each day also includes the American Sign Language equivalent

And you can see below:

For the ASL version, numbers 10-12 are just with the 1 + 2, 1 + 1, 1 + 0
