Finding Dory Inspired Printable Pack for a Mommy and Me Playdate

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc., Kimberly Clark, and Disney. All opinions are mine alone. #FamilyMovieWithKleenex #CollectiveBias My toddler absolutely loves the movie, Finding Dory. It’s become one of her latest obsessions and we’ve watched this movie together numerous times. I admit, I probably love it just as much as she does- even if she doesn’t quite get all of the references. We have our favorite characters; hers being Baby Dory and mine being Hank. And we definitely enjoy this movie from beginning to end. Watching Finding Dory together has become a great way to for us to spend time with each other. Now, we’re also enjoying a little bit of fun with the movie with this Finding Dory inspired printable pack….

Spider Type Printable Cards for Toddlers and Preschoolers

Spider Type Printable Cards for Toddlers and Preschoolers

This week’s book in the Virtual Book Club for Kids is the Very Busy Spider by Eric Carle Eric Carle is a favorite author in this house so we were pretty excited to do something with this book. In fact, later on in our home preschool plans (at this point next year I’m thinking), we’ll do an Eric Carle unit. But, if you just want to base your own unit and study around spiders, instead of Eric Carle, then I have a few suggestions for you:                 & We’ll also be sure to take a walk at some point so we can go look for spider webs and spiders outside. I had wanted to set up a sensory bin, since this seems to be the…

Apples Tot School Unit featuring Apples, Apples Tot Pack

Apples Tot School Unit featuring Apples, Apples Tot Pack

Fall is one of my favorite seasons for several reasons. One being all of the pumpkin flavored everything and another being the changing leaves. Another reason I love Fall has to do with living in Albany. We’re close to several apple orchards and love taking the time to visit them to go pick apples. And whether it’s for eating them right away or for baking, we always have apples on hand. This year, I wanted to expand a little bit on that by creating a apple themed tot school unit for Squeaker. The unit is really a mini-unit and the activities can be spread out over a few days or done in one day. In addition to the activities in the tot pack, I would…

How to Get Kids Excited About Recycling

How to Get Kids Excited About Recycling

“This review was made possible by iConnect and Bottersnikes & Gumbles.  I was provided compensation to facilitate this post, but all opinions stated are 100% mine.” Recycling may seem like one of those things that only adults do. But that’s not the case at all. Kids can get involved with recycling and you can even have fun with it in the process. It’s really easy to do and you can make it into a game if they don’t seem to enthused. But you just never know what will happen. Some kids love to sort things so recycling might just be one of those things that they really get into! Recycling is sort of like exercising: we all know we should do it, but not all…

Freebie Friday: My Weekly Chores Chart

Welcome back to another Freebie Friday! In keeping with my free printables for autistic children, this week I’m sharing a weekly chores chart printable pack. Sweet B does help around the house and sometimes it helps her to have a visual reminder to keep her on track. Mostly she helps with making her bed, and sorting silverware. We’re slowly adding in more chores and responsibilities for her as she gets older. What you get in the pack: Chore chart (5 day and 7 day version) Chore symbols (sized for 5 day and 7 day versions) You can also use the blank charts to write in chores. While I wouldn’t exactly use these in a visual schedule, you can certainly integrate them into one. For example,…
