Freebie Friday: My Weekly Chores Chart

Welcome back to another Freebie Friday! In keeping with my free printables for autistic children, this week I’m sharing a weekly chores chart printable pack. Sweet B does help around the house and sometimes it helps her to have a visual reminder to keep her on track. Mostly she helps with making her bed, and sorting silverware. We’re slowly adding in more chores and responsibilities for her as she gets older. What you get in the pack: Chore chart (5 day and 7 day version) Chore symbols (sized for 5 day and 7 day versions) You can also use the blank charts to write in chores. While I wouldn’t exactly use these in a visual schedule, you can certainly integrate them into one. For example,…

Making Sense of My 5 Senses

Welcome to another Freebie Friday! Today’s free printable pack focuses on the 5 Senses and is called: Making Sense of My 5 Senses. Though Sweet B is pretty good with figuring this sort of stuff out, I thought that it couldn’t hurt to try and reinforce those skills. From here on out I will also be offering freebies and for sale packs in my Teachers Pay Teachers store. I won’t be offering anything for sale for quite some time though, and you’ll always be able to access all of my free packs here. In fact, when I do start selling, I will have a special sale and offer a further discount just for readers of this blog. So you can find packs like this on…

Freebie Friday: What to Wear Today?

This pack can be used for any individual (non-verbal, pre-reader, autism, etc.) who made need a little bit of help in this area. This pack, “What to wear today?” is designed to help your child become more independent. You can also use this pack for a preschooler or toddler who may want to start dressing themselves. You could also use this pack for a calendar of sorts or for a morning circle. This pack includes: – Weather chart pages (When the weather is… I wear…) which feature a typical weather scenario (sunny, snowing, rain) and four empty choice spots…

Freebie Friday: Managing My Feelings

I mentioned earlier this week that I was going to offer a new free printable pack every week for Autism Awareness month. I want to start doing this more consistently anyway so I figured that this was a good of a time as any to get that into gear. For the first week, I’m offering up a pack called: Managing My Feelings. Sweet B, as I may have mentioned before, uses PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) to help her out but I also create my own printable packs for her when PECS doesn’t quite meet our needs. Hence why I have quite a few of these free printable packs for autistic children. She does have a pretty decent feelings set that I purchased elsewhere but…

4 Free Quote Printables about Hope

4 Free Quote Printables about Hope

Hope. Such a powerful word in only four letters. Certainly yes, there are plenty of four letter words that have meaning or that have impact. Several come to mind and no, they aren’t all family friendly. But hope is such an encouraging and gentle reminder. A daily reminder if we want to it to be. Hope has helped me to persevere through so many things in life and hope gets me through to the end of the day. Hope has gotten me through my daughter’s autism diagnosis and the day to day struggles that we face. Hope has gotten me through the transitions I’ve undergone and the changes that I’ve made in my life. Hope gives me a more positive outlook for the future- for…
