My Monthly Blogging Goals for May

My Monthly Blogging Goals for May

I’m working on my income report for April so I figured I should get it together and post my goals for May. Not just my blogging goals, of course, but also my personal goals. I haven’t posted these in awhile though I do try to set monthly goals because it helps to keep me on track. And right now, I really need that and some motivation to keep on going. I really do have such love/hate relationship with blogging. Though maybe hate is too strong of a word because I haven’t quite gotten to that point. Blogging, for me, is something beyond just being a hobby- this is the backbone of my business plan. And when it’s not going quite as successfully as I would…

Toddler Approved Broccoli and Bacon Tots

Having trouble with your toddler eating enough vegetables? Try these tasty broccoli and bacon tots.  So far we haven’t had many issues with getting Squeaker to try new foods or making sure that she’s eating a balanced diet. Aside from the fact that she’s a toddler and bound to be picky now and then; I do want to make sure that her nutritional needs are being met. She has yet to turn aside any of the food that we’ve made and she has shown a preference for green vegetables and carrots. Come to think of it, the only thing so far that she won’t eat are sweet potatoes. With her preference for green vegetables and wanting to test out a recipe for the picky pair (T&J),…

Is Yoga Beneficial for Autistic Children?

Sweet B’s social worker at school once told me that in her adapted PE class, they do a lot of free movement and play. Since Sweet B has not received physical therapy in quite some time, the main physical activity that she gets at school is through adapted PE. I’ll often get notes from her teacher through her notebook that she’s enjoyed a particular activity. Dancing, for example, is one of her favorites. They’ve also done yoga in the past. But is yoga beneficial for autistic children? Absolutely. Here are a few that you can try. 3 Fun Yoga Poses for Kids with Autism Written by Teresa Anne Power Illustrations by Kathleen Rietz April is National Autism Awareness Month, and yoga is proving to have…
