Easy Tips for How to Encourage Girls to Get Involved in STEM
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or sometimes STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) is a field that is traditionally dominated by males. And though that trend is shifting somewhat, it’s still important to encourage girls to get involved in STEM. As a mom of two girls, I want them to know that they are capable of doing anything to the best of their ability. And while the STEM fields were never really my strong point (unless it was a social science), I hope that both of my girls will explore these areas.
