The Day The Crayons Came Home
Squeaker and I recently had the opportunity to participate with a team of bloggers to promote the new book The Day The Crayons Came Home. I had read the Day the Crayons Quit before and I had intended to use it our tot school and home preschool at some point. So to have the opportunity to use the new book and do a few informal lessons on colors was definitely welcomed. The point, to me, of doing Tot School during the summer is to get Squeaker used to “lessons” and learning time. As she gets older, of course, we’ll move to more formal lessons and longer time periods. But, for now, these simple activities are a great way to get both of used to it….
