You’ve already heard about my love for BabyLit, if you’ve read our review of the Baby Lit Halloween App and the Baby Lit Halloween Books. I honestly can’t get enough of this company! The fact that they combine learning concepts with classic literature is right up my alley and I am pleased as punch to be working with them for my Holiday Gift Guide.
BabyLit is a featured gift in our Holiday Gift Guide!

After I had first reached out to Baby Lit, that was after I was finally able to stop looking at all of the books and products that they offer, I was asked what we would like to review for the Gift Guide. And though I would have loved to have picked the entire line, I knew that wasn’t possible. So then it was a matter of deciding between my favorite American Gothic author (Poe) or one of my favorite author’s ever… the incomparable Jane Austen. It really didn’t take me too long to decide though as I had previously been trying to figure out a way to introduce Squeaker to classic literature in Tot School.
Far fetched, or at least I had believed so at the time.
Now, I know that with Baby Lit, I can make classic literature for babies a reality and teach her important learning concepts at the same time. For instance, the Pride and Prejudice Primer teaches counting and the Sense and Sensibility Primer teaches opposites. Both concepts are ones that I plan to teach during both Tot School and Homeschool Preschool. Plus, if I can introduce her to the classics at a young age, I can hopefully foster a similar love in her as I have in me.
For example, I can’t wait to use this during pretend play! Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite books and I adore the movies as well. I wish we could use this sooner but since just about everything goes in her mouth, I don’t want Squeaker to ruin it just yet.
While we were waiting for a friend at a recent lunch date, I brought along our tote bag and one of our Baby Lit books.
And above you can see one of the inside pages, aren’t the illustrations stunning?
I am so happy that we discovered Baby Lit books, we are happy to have them on our bookshelves and look forward to using them for years to come with Squeaker. These books have easily become some of my favorites to read with her- not just for introducing classics but also for the added learning concepts. You really can’t go wrong this combination in my book.
