Personalized Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Bloggers

Personalized Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Bloggers

Have I mentioned before that we don’t really do Valentine’s Day? I’ve never been a huge fan because to me, it’s a more commercialized holiday. And expressing your love for someone should not be limited to one day- you know? But this year, I had the opportunity to partner with Zazzle to bring you a few personalized gift ideas for the blogger in your life. Well, they don’t have to be a blogger. They could be an entrepreneur, home business owner, CEO, etc. The point is that I’m sharing personalized gift ideas. Of course, one of the keys with creating a personalized gift is to make sure that you have a logo that will look well for printing. You could, of course, use one of…

Free Printable Paw Patrol Inspired Valentine’s Day Cards

My toddler is absolutely in love with Paw Patrol. In fact, the only thing that will probably draw her attention away from Paw Patrol is Frozen. Yes, she is a bit obsessed. Most of her Christmas and birthday presents this year were Paw Patrol themed and I suspect that we’ll do a Paw Patrol Easter basket as well. So, in spirit of that, I made Paw Patrol inspired Valentine’s Day cards that she can hand out to her friends and cousins. I’ll admit, if I was into handing out Valentine’s Day cards, I might just hand these out myself. Simple and Cute Free Printable Paw Patrol Valentine’s Day Cards If you are making a Paw Patrol Valentine’s Day basket, this would look pawdorable (see what…

Free Brown Bear Brown Bear Valentine’s Day Cards

Free Brown Bear Brown Bear Valentine’s Day Cards

I will preface by saying that these are inspired by the children’s book Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? and that I am in no way, shape, or form affiliated with Bill Martin Jr. or Eric Carle. We just happen to be fans of the book and I have this clipart that I purchased for a printable pack so I thought- why not! This is my first attempt at creating printable Valentine’s Day cards for kids and I hope to have a few more ready for you soon. I also plan on doing a set of printable packs with the Brown Bear clipart so hopefully we’ll have that soon too. We’ve done tot school very informally this year so far and it’s mostly…

How to Have a Budget Friendly Valentine’s Day

How to Have a Budget Friendly Valentine’s Day

Ah, Valentine’s Day. It seems that most people are in one of two camps: either you enjoy this holiday or you loathe this holiday. I’m in the second camp, mostly because I see Valentine’s Day as overly commercialized.  I haven’t bought anything for Kyle and he knows not to buy anything for me. We don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day with gifts, cards, or things like that. We honor Valentine’s Day every day of the year in the sense of showing love and appreciation. But that’s not to say that we won’t do something special- maybe for the kiddos, just not for us. We’re also trying to keep a close eye on our finances so instead we look for budget friendly Valentine’s Day ideas. Budget Friendly Valentine’s…

Budget Friendly Date Night Ideas

Welcome to Day 5 of 14 Days of Valentines! Today, I want to talk about budget friendly date night ideas but before I get into that, I do have a small confession to make. While I am doing a 14 Days of Valentines, I don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day itself. I like to decorate for the holiday, I like baking for the holiday, and there’s a multitude of children’s crafts and activities that I enjoy doing. But as far as celebrating Valentine’s Day in terms of buying gifts or giving gifts- no thanks. I’ve always felt that Valentine’s Day was becoming too commercialized and I’m not really a materialistic person. Plus, if you’re just going to reserve this one day of the year to go…
