I had seen quite a few recipes for pancakes that only used an egg, and mashed banana. Occasionally a teaspoon of vanilla extract but nothing beyond that. And I was quite intrigued. Could this possibly come close to pancakes made from scratch or our go-to choice of Bisquick? I had to find out for myself with this easy cinnamon, almond and banana pancake recipe. Low Carb Breakfast Scramble

While a low carb diet isn’t exactly our intention, on occasion we’ll have low carb dishes. This usually results in a low carb breakfast option like this delicious low carb breakfast scramble. During the week we don’t make a big to-do about breakfast but over the weekends, we do put more effort into it. Sunday is always pancake day and Saturday, we get a little more creative. I want Squeaker to know about other cultures and religions aside from her own. Now, while her ethnic background is quite diverse (she’s Japanese, Filipino, Polish.. and a host of additional European background) and I have some idea of how to introduce those cultures (like with our mini tot school Poland unit); religion is another issue. I am raising her as a Christian because that’s what we are. However, I also want her to be aware of other religions and as a Christian, I think that learning about Judaism will go a long way.
