Eggtastic Weekend Breakfast Bake

Eggtastic Weekend Breakfast Bake

On the weekends, I love recipes that can serve as both breakfast and brunch. Sometimes I get the chance to sleep in on the weekend so having a handy brunch recipe is always nice. But even on those weekend mornings where I can’t sleep in (which is more often than not) I still enjoy having a hearty and filling breakfast that will keep me going throughout the day. Because of this, I like to have recipes on hand that have eggs and at least once a month, I make this eggtastic weekend breakfast bake. Sometimes I’ll make it during the week as it does reheat well. This particular breakfast bake is also loaded with sausage, spinach, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheese. You could certainly…

Easy Cheesesteak Inspired Casserole

Have you ever had a cheesesteak sandwich? Well, if we’re going to get technical, perhaps I should call it a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, hmm? So have you ever had one? It’s one of my most favorite sandwiches, ever. I mean, how can I not love it? Steak, melted cheesy goodness… smothered in sauteed onions and peppers. Chicken and Spinach Carbonara

Chicken and Spinach Carbonara

I love bacon and I will put it in almost everything that I cook. I’ve put it in spinach and artichoke dip and it was delicious. I put it in my stuffed meatballs, and it is delicious. Add it in to shredded chicken risotto? Again, it is delicious. There really isn’t a lot that I won’t put bacon in, so something like spaghetti carbonara is right up my alley. Granted, it’s usually made with pancetta and not bacon, but it tastes pretty similar right? So when I got inspired to twist up a carbonara recipe, I kept the bacon but put in two non-traditional ingredients. To make it more of a filling, all in one, dish; I ended up with a chicken and spinach carbonara….

Delicious Holiday Coffee Drinks

I have received information and materials from JOHNSON & JOHNSON CONSUMER, Inc., McNeil Nutritionals, LLC Subsidiary the makers of LACTAID®. The opinions stated are my own. This is a sponsored post. One of my favorite things at this time of the year, is to curl up on the couch with a hot beverage and watch one of my favorite Christmas movies. Or football… or a cooking show. Point being, I like to curl up on the couch with my favorite hot beverage of choice. Those same hot beverages keep me going through present wrapping, decking the halls, and online shopping. However, prior to this, I always had to rely on dairy based creamers or creamers that would induce migraines. Not really something I want to…

Slow Cooker Chili

It’s definitely the time of the year to start breaking out the slow cooker (or crock pot, if that’s what you prefer) and it’s also the time of year to look for chili recipes. For me, I love finding recipes that are easy to prepare and get going throughout the day. Recipes that don’t involve too much preparation are my favorite. And it’s even better when those recipes are toddler approved because then I don’t have to worry too much about preparing something else for Squeaker. Recently, I tried my hand at a slow cooker chili and it did come out pretty tasty if I do say so myself. It starts with your choice of meat. We used ground beef, but you can use ground…
