I have made this year, 2017, my year to get back in shape and to stay in shape. I know, I know- so many people make this their goal at the beginning of the year. And so many of us fail at this goal by the middle of the year… or right around now. But why is that? It’s any number of things and it will likely depend on the individual and how motivated they are. For me, I need to mix things up every so often or I get bored. One way that I’m going to meet my health and wellness goals this year is through BuffBoxx – a monthly subscription box for women (and men!). With my thanks to BuffBoxx for sending a complimentary box to facilitate this post- I’m so excited to share this with you all.
Now, we love our subscription boxes. We get two for Squeaker and I have two for me. But those are more for entertainment and fun. I wanted to look for something that was more of a lifestyle box. And, in particular, something that would help me with my health and wellness.
But just how was I going to accomplish that?
Part of it was going to depend on:
- whether or not it was truly going to meet fitness and wellness goals
Trying to find something that matched all three of those? Not as easy as you may think!
But that all changed when I found BuffBoxx.
Never heard of BuffBoxx?
BuffBoxx is a monthly subscription box geared toward fitness, health, and wellness. Each BuffBoxx contains premium, brand name fitness apparel, supplements, accessories and gym goods, healthy snacks, meal plans, & access to workout programs!
BuffBoxx only works with brand name fitness companies and new emerging brands of the highest quality. We work with our Partners to bring you the Ultimate BOXX of Fitness every month!
Here are the food/snack items I got in my first BuffBoxx:
- Eat the Bear Chocolate Peanut Butter protein powder (so freaking good!)
- Bolt Organic Energy Chews (perfect for pre-workout fuel!)
- Run Performance Gum (who knew this was a thing!)
The protein powder came in so handy for a post-workout drink. And did I mention that it was delicious? I love the combination of chocolate and peanut butter.
I also got two t-shirts:
- Reebok Slim fit tank
- Buff Boxx tank
I may have mentioned this on my YouTube unboxing video- I love how they used a kettlebell for the logo. Both of these t-shirts have come in handy for my workouts. While I don’t sweat buckets, by the end of my workout, I do have a fairly sweaty back (ew!) and chest area. The chest area, not a big deal. But trying to finish up crunches with a sweaty back? Gross.
The Reebok tank has been perfect for that so I might have to stock up on a few of these.
Now, while I was pretty excited by everything that I got, this item was by far my favorite. A pair of Slidez.
How freaking awesome is that?
I’ve wanted to use these for awhile now for my workouts (PiYo in particular) and trying to find the right set was a bit of a struggle. I didn’t know what to look for, where to begin… and I was starting to get a little frustrated.
So the timing with these being in my BuffBoxx? Perfect!
And, in case you’re wondering, the BuffBoxx also included a meal plan and a workout card. But, since I’m already set with the workout portion, I set that aside for later.
Overall though, I could not have been happier with this box. Want to try it? Use code:
